Yeah, ok, perhaps a little hyperbole in that title. But I have been overcome by the desire to make terraria - little glass houses for succulents or ferns.
My old flatmate Ed used to grow mini succulents and I love the idea of lots of them in one big jar.
This is yet another project that I don't have room for (although the low-maintenance certainly appeals!) yet, but it'll be on my evergrowing list when I move next year.

I think you're right Emme - the miniature aspect might be what gets me, too. And that a little habitat can quietly thrive in your living room is quite special. So glad you enjoyed them!
