Lovely desk space

Now I realise this is for children, but I love the simple structure and the minimalist things on each shelf. Really sweet.

Gorgeous bedspread

This bedspread is spectacular. Geometric, textured and deep, beautiful grey. Must find. Must buy. Must snuggle.

Bookish Tree House

Goodness gracious this is a beautiful house. Love the windows, the angles and these books. So comfy and bright - just beautiful.

Scarf obsession

How much is too much to spend on a scarf? Like, $50? $100? I seem to have fallen in love with a spate of scarves (I don't know what their collective noun should be: A pride? A scud? A handful?) which are all spectacular but also quite expensive.  (Links for 1, 2, and 3).

Ombre Tights - Oh My!

Love this idea. Now, I would need longer legs and a shorter skirt to really make it work, but it looks kind of perfect.

L.A.

Over Easter I snuck over to L.A. with the Pal. It's a long story why, but in a nutshell, he's working in NYC for a bit, and we thought we'd catch up somewhere sunny and a direct plane flight away for both of us. (Not that long a story, as it turns out!).  We had an amazing time - and I wanted to share these lovely pics of the Viceroy Hotel. It was terribly pretty.

Office Space Pretties

Yes, I know. I'm not an artist. Or a stylist or in any creative industry. But what I wouldn't give for an arty office like this one. I'm sure the tech company I work at would get behind this, right?!

Behind the scenes at the Melbourne Museum

I was lucky enough to hang out behind the scenes at the Melbourne Museum recently and amongst other things, I saw an amazing collection of eggs. This drawer was my favourite - it's of Cuckoo eggs in other nests - sneaky, eh? You can also see the beautiful copperplate handwriting next to each clutch (the nest it was found in) of eggs. I had such a good time that I think I may have missed my calling:  museum curatorship seems to involve classifications, neatness and order. Oh. And lots of dead animals, which could prove to be a dealbreaker...
Photographs by me.

Freedom

I must be feeling teary as this artwork really struck me today. So stencilly and so beautiful.

Origami Mini House

Ooh a little jewel-like housie in the middle of a garden? Yes thanks. That would be delightful.

Adorable study nook

I just can't go past a good nook. I try and then, nope. Can't get past them.  And the French bin? So adorable.

Vladimir Markin Jewellery

Love love love the idea of putting hanging washing on the line on a necklace - including socks, underwear and t-shirts! Vladimir Markin's designs are probably not for everyone but I think they're super cute.

Cosy nook

I really love the modern and mismatched look of this nook - the pop of pink is really fun, and I love the wooden sideboard/display case. Delightful!

Clean facade

Oooh so many windows! While I'm not sure I'd like to live here (too fishbowly?!), I do love the clean white and wood - great lines.

Modern bedroom

Adore the mustard tones of the bed and the masculine black leather chair in this bedroom. Warm and comfy - and not usually my style.

Perfect Plants

The table! The floorboards! Cacti! Glass containers! This is pretty outrageously wonderful.
