Perfect colourful tray

Why hello geometric, colourful tray! It's made from coated steel, so not suitable for food serving, which is a shame. But it would make such a lovely jewelry organiser or just a feature on a plainer table. 

Kitchen Love

I never thought there would be a time where I would miss all my kitchen things. But that time has come! Our things are hopefully arriving soon, but it's been five months without things like our plates and chopping boards, and I can't wait to unpack everything and feel better equipped. (One saucepan has been a real challenge!) This picture is providing much inspiration in the meantime.

Dipped wooden boxes

One of the things about living in the US that's tricky is the feeling of everything being so attainable. Living in Sydney, one is very used to thinking "that website probably doesn't ship internationally" or worse, "that website charges $100 for shipping, so that's no bargain". But here, everything ships, often free and always fast. This is a problem. It makes me think I *need* most things, or at the least, should buy them because there may be a day that I can't! Ridic, I know. In the middle of these deep, consumerist musings: voila! Cute wooden boxes. They probably won't come home with me, but they're pretty to admire in the meantime.

Ten Great Years

I'm a sucker for a good Beatles infographic and this one is no different. Quite unbelievable that they spanned this golden decade so successfully. Off to listen to I Am the Walrus...

Muji Owl

Well aren't you just gorgeous, Cardboard Muji Owl? A little severe in the face, perhaps, but cardboardy and lovely nonetheless.

Georgia Gray

These beautiful acrylics are made by Georgia Gray and they almost look like tapestries to me - love the colour blocking and the composition.

Not sure I'll ever get over my love of triangles and geometric shapes. These ones are delicious.

Bookish Tree House

Goodness gracious this is a beautiful house. Love the windows, the angles and these books. So comfy and bright - just beautiful.

Ombre Tights - Oh My!

Love this idea. Now, I would need longer legs and a shorter skirt to really make it work, but it looks kind of perfect.

Vladimir Markin Jewellery

Love love love the idea of putting hanging washing on the line on a necklace - including socks, underwear and t-shirts! Vladimir Markin's designs are probably not for everyone but I think they're super cute.

Boaty goodness

Yes, I know. I already have a dress with boats on it. And I'm not even that maritime-inclined. (Except sometimes The Pal grows a beard when we're on holidays, and I call him a 'crusty seadog', which I suspect he sort of loves...). But again I say: this dress is pretty awesome.

Wakey Wakey Mugs

Oh my god - WHAT? These mugs wake UP and get HAPPY when you pour hot drinks into them!

Everything in this photo is adorable

Especially the magazine belts. They are delicious. I've been searching for some second hand belts lately and turning up real clunkers. Let me know, dear internets, if you find some nice, thick ones like these.

Downton Abbey Paper Dolls

Oh excellent. I've now watched both seasons of Downton Abbey and loved them, so these paper dolls made me giggle. It has intrigue! Dresses! Death! Maggie Smith!  It's too wonderful: do try to have a look if you can.

Desk perfection

This Kaiju Studios desk organiser is really almost entirely perfect. A wooden base with felt that also has a charging connection = beautiful design and careful artistry. What a beautifully executed and useful piece.

Diamond-sliced Wedges

Well, isn't this awkward. Here I was, just minding my own and browsing a website, when what do I discover but the perfect shoe? There's something about the yellow and the wooden wedge which make me giddy. Hold on friends, I'll be coming for you, soon!
