Owls

This owl got me at 'hello'.

Hello!

I have a slight obsession with all things owl-ish. There are so many reasons to love them. In no particular order they are these:

1.They 'hoot', which is pretty cool.
2. The collective noun for a group of owls is a 'parliament'.
3. They can turn their heads all the way around.
4. I loved Owl in the Winnie the Pooh books.
5. They seem a bit affected - if they could speak, they'd probably have an English accent and smoke pipes. You know.

This owl bookmark was made by my lovely friend Jen, who assures me he will "watch over my books while I sleep and remind me to get some rest when the editing gets too frantic".
