New Quilt

Finally the new quilt is done. It is nowhere near as well made as some professional quilts out there, but the sense of achievement is intense!

It is backed with pale grey and bound with sky blue, and is the perfect size for couch-snuggles. The wonky stitching is actually on purpose, and it feels cosy, light and gorgeous to be underneath. I'm really happy with the finished product, and am already planning up new colours and designs for the next one...

  8. Yay,Maddy and I loved your quilt too! Did you paint the birds on the wall?? With regard to the map note cards could you just stick a piece of white paper inside with the map for the outside cover??
