Klas Fahlen Letterpressed notebooks

Ooh hi pretties. Some lovely letterpressed notebooks coming out of Chronicle Books at the moment and I love the mid-century feel of these ones, especially.

Ferme a Papier

Loved these Ferme a Papier cards - so elegant. I've started a small card-tel (a pun on cartel?) with some good friends. We get together and swap cards from our collections (which are, ahem, fairly large!) and it makes it easier to buy a set of cards if you know you can swap some out. Clearly this is a niche problem to have, but you know, each to their own!

Faces in envelopes

I may never address an envelope in the same way after seeing this. Ears!!  Too wonderful.

Ban.Do

These diaries from Ban.do are really gorgeous and are making me wish I used a paper diary these days.

Paper Rhinoceros

I like this paper rhino. I especially like that it can "requires Houdini moves" to assemble. Very good, Rhino. Very good.

Kate Spade Stamp

Well this is fantastic. A desk stamp with wonderful phrases? I really wish I had a job that involved stamping things on paper.

Nathalie Lete Wrapping Paper Book

Isn't this sweet? Such a lovely wrapping paper book. I always prefer rolls of paper so you don't get the creases and folds in the final present, but these are temptingly lovely.

Pattern love

Enjoying patterns is something I'm quite fond of. And this box of 100 patterns feels pretty great.

Paper dresses

These are pretty great. I think I recognise the paper as Cavallini and Co but what a lovely idea to make tiny dresses from them. Just awesome.

Beautiful cards

I'm not sure I'll ever walk away from a stationery store without something in my real or virtual cart. These cards from Ferme a Papier are pretty stunning, n'est ce-pas?

Marimekko Stationery

Just so, so pretty. Trust Marimekko to have some deliciously graphic stationery - I've never seen it before and think it's kind of amazing.

Papier Tigre

My lovely friend Nadege sent me a link to this amazing site called Papier Tigre - I adore the geometric notebooks, as well as their beautiful envelopes. Also, this amazing 'Manager' desktop notebook/calendar is superb. If I wasn't so tied up with Google Calendar (which is my life at home and at work), I would get this is a red hot minute.

Not sure I'll ever get over my love of triangles and geometric shapes. These ones are delicious.

Totoro postcard

Such a lovely idea - Hayao Miyazaki films made into a set of postcards, including my very favourite My Neightbour Totoro.

Update: it seems the link isn't working - I originally found these here.

Craft shops in Japan

Mumokuteki in Kyoto

Yes, these shops were my downfall. Oh, you guessed as much? Well, I am nothing if not predictable. I managed to hunt down some pretty amazing shops, as well as the usual suspects like Loft and Tokyu Hands. I won't tell you how much I bought, but let's just say I made "some investments".
(All three of the above are from Loft. Yes, that last one is all stickers...)
