While I leave the film critique to the expert, I love love LOVE this collection of film titles. There are some real stunners. I chose some from the 2000-2004 bracket, but really, there are just hundreds to browse through. I also love the description of the "grammar of cinema".
Each of these bring the movies themselves back to life so vividly.

ReplyDeleteI love this site and Peter Bradshaw's effusive post about it. It is amazing how distinctive the title card can be (not to mention 'Fin'!). Here's hoping intertitles keep typographers in business for a good long while yet.
