One of the reasons I haven't been making things lately is that my craft space (or more accurately, desk) has been a mess. It wasn't a mess in a messy way (I'm incurably tidy): it was just impractical and badly set up. I spent a cleansing few hours sorting through old mess and making way for all the things I really love. Now when I look over, I see all happy, inspiring things and feel excited to get crafting again. Stay tuned for some of the things I've been making soon!

Minimalist Parisian Apartment
These incredible Paris apartment pictures make me want to get rid of my possessions, buy the odd green chair and fly to France. Except those empty bookcases need books in them: I don't care how minimalist you are!

The Lviv Ballet
These photographs of the Lviv Ballet dancers are so beautifully composed and the colours of each are just breathtaking: the green and white of the last is my favourite. I've never loved ballet myself, but these pics almost persuade me to give it another chance. (The costume alone is pretty incroyable!)

Swiss Underground Home
As you know, I am a big fan of underground homes. Perhaps I watch Grand Designs too often, or perhaps I just want to live in a cosy house. Either way, this Swiss home makes me tingle.

Helen Musselwhite Terrariums
Oh my goodness. These sculptures by Helen Musselwhite combine my love of her papercuts with my love of terrariums. Aren't they superb? The muted greys and whites are just incredible.

Film Posters of the Year
While I leave the film critique to the expert, I love love LOVE this collection of film titles. There are some real stunners. I chose some from the 2000-2004 bracket, but really, there are just hundreds to browse through. I also love the description of the "grammar of cinema".

Rain, rain: Karin Nussbaumer
Although it's sunny and lovely here in Sydney, this picture made me want to rug up and prance about in the rain!
EDITED TO SAY: It's raining again. That sunny window was just a moment. Sigh.

Polar Bear and Friends
I don't normally post pictures of animals, but these ones got me. What can I say?!
"Near Hudson Lake in Manitoba, German wildlife photographer Norbert Rosing spotted a polar bear coming near his sled dogs. He took pictures of what he thought would be the end of his dogs. Apparently the bear came back every night for a week to play with the dogs."
