Thanksgiving

I'm being a new-ish American resident and taking the rest of this week off to celebrate Thanksgiving. The American celebration of autumn is pretty fabulous - leaves are actually falling, the air is cooler, apples and pumpkins are everywhere and I am excited to make pie. (Which is happening - probably apple and lemon meringue).  Of course I can't celebrate autumn/fall without my favourite ode to decorative gourd season :)
