Ah this really resonates with me at the moment. One more week of working this hard and then I'm free. Well, back to normal work and not crazy work, which will be amazing. 

Craft Fair GoodTimes

If you're in San Francisco this weekend, you should check out this craft fair. I'm going to try and get along as a work-break and it has food and crafts and fun. What's not to love?!

Kindah Khalidy

Just found the works of Kindah Khalidy and I am in love! The silk scarf at the moment is magnificent and just perfect.  And really - every bag looks better with a tassel.

 

Beautiful glass terrariums

Aren't these magnificent? I mean, they're almost (almost!) too pretty to put plants in. The diamond one is especially awesome. The angles and shapes coupled with the white on black are very thrilling.

Peaceful bedroom

The neutrals here are amazing - as is that shelf of black and white overlapping paintings. Dreamy.

Just go with it

I am coming off the back of about 6 weeks of crazy work hours and I have two more to go. I am longing for time, weekends, early nights and conversations which don't revolve around the project I'm working on. This summed it all up. Sigh. These 10 days cannot go fast enough.

Succulents ahoy

I know, I know. We've talked about this. Succulents die in my hands. But still - look how lovely these ones look!

Fiddle Figs and possibility

For some reason, this reminds me of home. Not because Sydney looked like this in my mind, but it reminds me of expansive spaces and lazy Sundays and possibility. Would love to channel this welcoming and relaxing feel into our home here in San Francisco - I'm going to work on it over the next few months. Stay tuned!

Oh yes! This reminds me of our recent holiday in Hawaii and the feeling of understanding that the world is big and wonderful. Nature. Right!?

Bookcase love

Holy moly. These bookcases are really making me miss our old bookcases from our old apartment. And looking back at those photos almost makes me gasp with how much my tastes have changed over the past few years. I guess that's not surprising, but woah. Nice to see an evolution, I guess: photos from our current place soon.

Beautiful cards

I'm not sure I'll ever walk away from a stationery store without something in my real or virtual cart. These cards from Ferme a Papier are pretty stunning, n'est ce-pas? 

Perfect in pink

I know, I know. I keep speaking about art for our walls and there has been absolutely no progress on that as yet. I have high hopes for a wall like this - I just need to devote some time to it. Maybe later in August when I have a little more free time. It'll be like a victory lap!

Grey rug happiness

We searched for a long time for a rug to love when we moved over to the US. We needed two, and even though I like the ones we ended up with, I love this one which - weirdly - is from Marks and Spencer! Love the irregular shape and the color blends - looks perfect in this (incidentally gorgeous) bedroom.

Gaia and Gino Copper vases

Copper grid vases combine three things I love: geometry, copper and flowers. What stunning pieces.

Lions and tigers, oh my

No real reason I'm posting this today - just thought it was a beautiful print and an important thing to remember. And yes, as a Leo, I am a lion in the above example :)

Holidaze

Woops. Dropped off the blog a bit last week as the Pal and I ducked off to Hawaii - the Big Island, to be precise. Uh, it was incredible and these photos don't even do it justice. Was the perfect blend of resting and lying on a beach and a little bit of adventure. Back to normal programming tomorrow!
