Crayola's Law: Colour Spectra

This graph demonstrates Crayola's Law: the number of colours in crayon packs is doubling every 28 years. I wonder what our grandkids will draw with?!

I have been very taken recently with interesting graphs that look striking, too. I bought this incredibly good book, The Visual Miscellaneum, by David McCandless for the Pal for Christmas - it's so beautiful and informative: I'm smitten with it. You should have a look at David's blog, and Flickr, too for some visual stunners.

  1. Oh, COOL. I may repost the Crayon thing. My heart's still broken over the discontinuation of "Burnt Sienna."
