Camerino Valet Stand
I've been thinking about a birthday present for the Pal for quite some time and quite arrogantly thought I had it nailed. This valet stand is clearly drop-dead gorgeous and I thought had his name all over it: he doesn't like putting the daily things in life away each day and I thought this was a cute and practical solution. Luckily, for him, I checked with him before I bought it - he hates it! But I think it's pretty awesome. What do you think?

New home
A lot of people continue to ask me, well, does San Francisco feel like home yet? And in some ways it does - I know my way around a lot more, and things are starting to feel very familiar. But in other ways, I'm still surprised by things - spring smells different, the bird calls sound strange and there's no warm Sydney summer breeze in the evenings, which I miss so much. I love this print, though - a beautifully evocative image of a city I love.

Santorini longing
Today is the day that my Mum is meeting my sister over in Santorini and I'm so envious. They're going to have such a nice time - I have to stop myself from jumping on a plane and joining them! Here's to blue skies, cool breezes and amazing food. (Don't tell me if you eat halloumi - that will be just too much to bear!).

Stories
I just found this amazing new site called "& Other Stories" and gosh, it's dangerous. This necklace, for instance? Um, yes please! In a first for me, they don't ship to the US and are Europe-only, so I've bought some bits and pieces and sent them to my sister for some complicated family mule-ing back from holidays. I'm sure that'll work out.

Dressy shoes
I have a few weddings coming up in the next few months - one of which I'm a bridesmaid at, which is really exciting. I've been trying to find fun shoes that will look pretty with cocktail dresses but will also look great with pants, which is my usual preferred attire. These ones are flying their way to me at the moment to see if they are comfortable and also cute: I have high hopes but we'll see ;)

H&M Home: Online at last!
Well this is pretty exciting. H&M have launched an home line that's online to ship to the US (uh-oh!). Some really lovely items for very reasonable prices. I'm going to sit down and see what might make a nice addition to the house. And yes - thanks for your messages. Big work project officially over! Have spent the last few days as Zombie Kate as I get back to reality but I'm back :)
