Inspired by Eileen's excellent  list, I've decided to make my own. This is a list about, broadly, 'things I'm looking forward to in the next few months' as it begins to ger slightly warmer and then, well, slightly cooler, because it's San Francisco.

Fancy Pants Events
-Big Bang Gala at the Academy of Science: I'm sort of cheating as this was last week, but super fun.
-Janelle Monae in concert. I saw her last year at the Sydney Opera House and I can't WAIT to see her again.

Crafty things
-Craft Night #3 is coming up soon - I'm very excited about it.

-Calligraphy classes at Makeshift Society

Good friends
Two lots of very good and very old friends are coming to stay in the coming weeks. Hooray for R & E and D&G!

Trips
-Mini getaway to LA
-Bachelorette party in New Orleans
-Camping trip to Lake Tahoe
-Possibly another week away - maybe Mexico or Hawaii?

The seasons are so much more evident over here in California. Even though it doesn't really snow here in San Francisco, it gets cold. And it really feels like it's becoming Spring time. This sums it up perfectly - what a delicious, happy lounge room - happy weekend!

New stamps: Vintage seed packets

I used to collect stamps as a little girl and have recently been excited by living in a new country with all new stamps. These vintage seed packets are just new and I think they're super fun. 

Perfect living room colours

Oooh yes please. I found these pictures by Nate Berkus and they really remind me of the colour palette of our living room. I especially like the woods, golds and mossy greens he's used. Time to start working out how to include those at our place.

Fox wrapping paper

Just delicious! I love a good fox and these foxes are pretty wonderful.

New bed linen

I've been looking (as you know, from this post) for new bed linen for a while. Nothing was quite right, everything was too busy or the wrong colours or made from polyester (which sounded horrible and sweaty). 

Enter Fictional Objects, an Aussie label which has made the linen I've been hoping to find. C'est magnifique! I love it so much I'm going to buy it, ship it to Sydney and pick it up in about 6 months when I'm back there.

Perfect skylights

I could never sleep here as I'd wake up at 5am each day, but I'd love to sprawl and read on this bed under these mega-scaled windows. The little wallpaper nook is also adorable. 

Ohmygosh

The scale of these big prints is just fantastic - I think they look exceptional and the colours, too.
