Be Still My Beating Luggage

Internet. I just had to share with you how brilliant this suitcase is. My parents bought it for me for Christmas last year and it's quite amazing. First, it's incredibly light. Second, it's super dexterous and easy to move and lastly, it's shiny and pale green. If you're planning to travel, I guarantee this to be a most excellent travelling companion.

Colourful Kitchen

Oooh delicious. A candy-coloured kitchen? Love the pastel upper cupboards - this looks fantastic.

Usually I like wallpaper for a few moments - and often think I'd have buyers' remorse if I ever decided on a pattern. Until I saw this pattern. I think I could look at it forever.

Love the layered rugs (or maybe it's just one rug?) in this lounge room - it looks so comfortable and cosy while still seeming very elegant and modern.

Re-turned birds

These adorable Norwegian birds are made from scrap wood and I couldn't think of a sweeter way to dispose of offcuts. The little army below is perfect!

Darling Dexter

This garden party dress from Darling Dexter is too perfect. Sadly we didn't really have a summer here in Sydney this year, but one day, I will wear this, and it will be sunny.

My friend Sophie sent me a link to this skirt in an email last night with the line, "Kate, this has to be the you-est skirt around!" and I have to agree. So, so perfect. 

H&M and Ikea

Gosh this is such a pleasing meeting of two brands that I love. The belts (Internet, you know I do love belts in design) and the plants make this little shelf just delightful.

Pither Heel

Wow wow wow. The wooden heels and the off-kilter angle is amazing. And the golden section? Perfection. I wish I had a life that would be amenable to these (I'm thinking a chauffeur is essential, for a start...).

Oh yes please. A house for magazines? Love that the roof doubles as a place holder.

Minimalist Children's Book Covers

Such beautiful and minimalist covers of children's book covers which are so subtle and lovely. The muted colours remind me of a 1950s retelling - just delicious.

Roald Dahl stamps

Oh my goodness. These bring back so many memories of my childhood - I read all of these time and again: my copies of Roald Dahl books were some of my most cherished books, and these stamps are so perfect. (Although The Witches one still, as it did back in the day, freaks me out).

Boaty goodness

Yes, I know. I already have a dress with boats on it. And I'm not even that maritime-inclined. (Except sometimes The Pal grows a beard when we're on holidays, and I call him a 'crusty seadog', which I suspect he sort of loves...). But again I say: this dress is pretty awesome.
