Slatthult, decoration stickers, AUD19.95Yes, the new Ikea catalogue is out. I have taken time out to browse it online, and have been pleasantly surprised. Not a revolutionary collection, but it has some charming bits and pieces - I feel a trip to Homebush Heaven (can be Homebush Hell if you have dramas) coming on post-thesis. Happily, they have embraced my obsession with decals, and I quite like these frames above, and the tree down below.
Hemnes, Yellow linen cabinet, AUD429.00This yellow linen cabinet has strange appeal, too. I don't know if I entirely love or entirely hate the yellow, but it would be a great cabinet to pack with crafty goodness. I think the stripey background is what makes me especially excited.
Hemnes, chest of 8 drawers, AUD549.00In case the yellow is too crazy, I do really like this white version. I can see it being a sideboard and a chest, which is quite the double-act. Hmmm, many things to think about...

Ohh yes I've already poured over the new Ikea catalogue! It came out just in time for my bed to die (it didn't fare well in the move), so I might be forced back to Ikea hell soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but my last two experiences have been hellish. I think if you go during the week, it can be heavenly - although I've never really got past the claustrophobic set up. Where are the exits?! Why do I need to drudge through every single section?!
I get panicky just thinking about it!
