I've come to the conclusion that I love sculptures in homes - not just galleries. And this crinkled piece of paper/amazing sculpture is perfect. 

The Wire Project

I mean, I've only been mildly obsessed with The Wire since 2008. I don't know how many times I've watched it, start to end, but it's a lot. And I've read most of the books written by David Simon and some of the heads writers, like Richard Price. Put it this way: I'd feel pretty good about having good odds beating you on The Wire trivia. So it's no surprise that I love these posters that Alice showed me. These ones are my favorites. Oldies but goodies.

Margate Architectural Installation

My lovely friend KF told me all about this - an architectural installation in London where the facade looks like it's literally falling off the front. Too, too wonderful.

I know, I know. I keep speaking about art for our walls and there has been absolutely no progress on that as yet. I have high hopes for a wall like this - I just need to devote some time to it. Maybe later in August when I have a little more free time. It'll be like a victory lap!
