Every Day in May: 8th May

This is a pretty poor effort! Although I won't disclose what I'm making yet (this may give some hints), I'm embarrassed to say that working with a sphere is much harder than I expected.

So far, I've had to drag out some old maths formulae (Surface area of a sphere? I'm an Arts student!) which was a bit confronting. Further, spheres - it turns out - don't sit still when you stop working on them. They roll away and need to be kept in check like cheeky toddlers.

As a paper-lover, (paper stays flat and usually only has two dimensions to worry about) I am out of my depth!
