Had a little tinker with the ol' blog today. The old header has been there for almost four years and although I love it, it's time for a change.

Oh my god - WHAT? These mugs wake UP and get HAPPY when you pour hot drinks into them!

Especially the magazine belts. They are delicious. I've been searching for some second hand belts lately and turning up real clunkers. Let me know, dear internets, if you find some nice, thick ones like these.

Well isn't this dress just the prettiest thing! Paper + Paris + super sweet. Such a lovely idea.

Downton Abbey Paper Dolls

Oh excellent. I've now watched both seasons of Downton Abbey and loved them, so these paper dolls made me giggle. It has intrigue! Dresses! Death! Maggie Smith!  It's too wonderful: do try to have a look if you can.

Drawer Unit by Anthony Hartley

A super cute drawer unit coming out of the UK by designer Anthony Hartley - it's called Edna (my lovely grandma's name) and I think it's pretty adorable.

Ixxi prints

You might have already seen these, but Ixxi are making some very, very cool wall prints. I love the colours in this one: I might have to find some more wall space and make this happen.

Desk perfection

This Kaiju Studios desk organiser is really almost entirely perfect. A wooden base with felt that also has a charging connection = beautiful design and careful artistry. What a beautifully executed and useful piece.

This is the extent of my Valentines excitement. I don't really get into the day at all, but in the spirit of love (in which I am a big believer), please give someone you care about a big hug today.

Well aren't these just delightful? A new range at IKEA called, endearingly, the Kvissle, includes a cable management box (top right) to hide ugly cables on your desk. I think I'm in lerv with the Kvissle.

Bella Goldman's Apartment

This is such a great use of a bright, white wall. Love that all the artwork and cushions bring colour to an otherwise blank canvas.

Lovely dresser

What lovely greens on this dresser. Charming white pots and sweet plants - very, very sweet.

Yellow bookcase

Sometimes Ikea gets it so, so right. What a perfectly lovely yellow bookcase. Love that everything else is fairly neutral. Makes me really happy just looking at it!

Cubebot

My lovely sister bought me this Cubebot for Christmas. He is a robot made of wood: he has bendable joints and - wait for it - folds up into a cube. He is so perfect.

Capri Blue Volcano Candle

This is an odd thing to post online, given I'm not close to you, urging you to sniff this candle. But Internet - this candle is amazing. Perfectly scented - not too overpowering, but fragrant enough. I bought it at Anthropologie in the US last year and I should have filled my suitcase. I'm hooked.

Pendant Lamp

Love this pendant lamp and the couch, too. Couches seem to be one of those elements that you really need to hit spot on. The wrong one in the wrong place looks kind of diabolical. This one is delightful.
